2. Miles for MS
Note from Nour:
Miles for MS was started by me (Nour) and Adam Wozny. We started this because we are both endurance athletes, so we realize how much of a blessing being active is. So, we run and move for those who can't.
Recently we ran the half marathon and we had a total of about 25-30 runners and we raised about 3500 dollars to go towards MS research. We had people from all skill levels- people who had never run a mile before to people like Michael train for and complete the half as I provided coaching. Michael obviously killed it by getting 5th with 1:19:20 and was amazing and represented NU Tri well.
If anyone is ever interested in running with Miles for MS or has any questions regarding what we do, please contact me. firstname.lastname@example.org
Michael Knudson: 5th Place overall in the Official Chicago Half Marathon with over 7500 participants (1:19:20)
